David Lynch : Tilton Gallery in NYC
David Lynch’s first ever art exhibition at Tilton Gallery, in New York City, is coming to a close this Saturday, April 14.
I’m so glad I was able to make it up to the Upper East Side yesterday just in time to check out Lynch’s solo art exhibition. As expected, I was completely and pleasantly disturbed by his artwork.
He created small, medium and large scale pieces, used various forms of media (including electricity!) with some truly bizaare content.
I left Tilton with the same feeling I had when I recently re-watched Blue Velvet, and a little spooked-out by the ghostly sounds of the gallery, itself!
Here are a few of my favorite pieces:
Tilton Gallery is open to the Public Tuesday-Sunday. Hop on the 4, 5 or 6 train (local) and get off at 77th Street. Walk West towards Central Park on 76th. 8 East 76 Street.
