The New Museum

I just finishd reading A Short Life of Trouble by Marcia Tucker, a memoir about the courageous woman who began the New Museum, in New York City.
This book documents 40 years in NYC art world and discusses human rights issues durring each decade; including the beginning of the AIDS epidemic and sexism.
I am highly inspired by Marcia’s journey, so I visited her museum on Bowery Street. It is a gorgeous space, stacked high and narrow, with every kind of art you can imagine.
